In my last post I set out three things that I wanted to accomplish at least one of:
a) Make more of my own clothesb) Participate in more competitions to gain recognition of my workc) Get a part-time job
Unfortunately it looks like this will be another rambly post, but hey-ho.
I can say that in half a year I have managed to achieve merely one of those things. I finally got myself a part-time job, although it is no longer the case, it was a wonderful experience. I was able to work within the fashion industry alongside my studies.
Speaking of...I am so incredibly excited to share with you the final outcomes of my last term's project, I'm not allowed to at this moment in time, but keep your eyes peeled. It is something that I am indescribably proud of, and hopefully it reflects the work that is to come.
Now that summer is out I have plenty more time to re-kindle my lust for life, do what I want to do and, live life to the full. To quote Thoreau: "I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life"
This summer I have big plans:
a) Really, actually, make my own clothes.
c) Find a(nother) part-time job
Oh yeah, one last one...
d) Don't neglect blog
